would absolutely stay here again.
Had a great time in this charming 1,000 year old building. Our Double Room had air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and a bidet. Everything was spotless and cozy, including fresh towels and great toiletries. Breakfast was a delight, and Mariangela’s personal attention made it even better!

Family perfect getaway
Our host was absolutely fantastic,, helped us with everything from dinner reservations to grabbing a taxi to the station. , I really appreciated how she made us feel like family and kept smiling the whole time!
It wasn't exactly a bargain,, but worth every single euro for everything we got.

Absolutely loved the breakfast with cooked eggs that made my mornings magical! Mariangela was a gem, drawing maps and scoring us dinner reservations. The vibe of the place was warm and inviting, like visiting family.
The breakfast area was a tad cramped, probably due to the building's historic charm. Had to endure some funky odors from the bathroom drains at times, but that seemed common throughout Siena—quaint yet quirky!

for such an 'historic' place, you'd think they'd have updated bathrooms, but nooo. And who thought not providing hair conditioner was a good idea? Also, can you believe I didn't receive a complimentary bottle of wine or something for my stay? I almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t. Such a disappointment!

My stay was memorable due to the warmth and support of the host. She prepared a to-go breakfast on my departure day, which was a thoughtful touch. I appreciated the clean rooms and the traditional decor that felt very inviting. It was a short walk to major attractions, making my exploration easy. One detail I forgot to mention is that I enjoy hearing personal stories, and I found the host's insights into local culture fascinating.
The shower needed better temperature control. The lack of hair conditioner was inconvenient for my long hair.

It was just a proper fit for getting around the area in Siena with reasonable value. Mariangela made breakfast specifically for our early departure, which set a nice tone for our day. If driving, be prepared to park a bit away and walk to the place.

1,000 year old building, charming decor, central location
The shower could use an upgrade with better temperature control!!! Lack of hair conditioner left my long hair in a tough spot, so pack your own!!! The bathroom drains emitted some funky odors occasionally!!!
